Drayton Valley retiree Herbert Cole is $250,000 richer and sleeping much better after a major win on a $10 Scratch & Win ticket! 

Cole won on his $10 CROSSWORD DELUXE and said it’s a favourite of his —especially now! 

“I scratched my ticket and then woke up my daughter to tell her, ‘I think I won!’” he said. “We checked it together at like three in the morning!” 

When Cole confirmed the amount, he was over the moon with excitement. 

“My heart skipped a beat,” he laughed. “My daughter didn’t really say anything about it until the next day because she was half asleep!” 

Now that he and his daughter have both had more sleep, Cole is deciding what he wants to spend his winnings on. 

“I am going to share with my kids,” he said. “I don’t know what else yet.” 

“We’re just happy to have a nest egg for when we need it!” he smiled.
