Our Mail Subscription service will retire in Spring 2026.

After decades of service, our Mail Subscription program will end in April 2026.

Launched in the 1980s, the Mail Subscription program was once the only way to subscribe to lottery games in WCLC’s region. Over the years, our mail subscribers have played an important role in WCLC’s history, and their loyalty and trust have helped connect us with players across the region. As the program comes to an end in April 2026, we extend our sincere gratitude to all of our subscribers; thank you for allowing us to be part of your lottery experience. Today, a convenient online subscription option is available.

Subscription Spot lets you subscribe online, manage your account, and receive your prizes faster – all at your convenience. You can register for a Subscription Spot account at SubscriptionSpot.ca until March 24, then purchase LOTTO MAX and WESTERN MAX tickets until March 31, LOTTO 6/49 and WESTERN 649 tickets until April 1, and DAILY GRAND tickets until April 2.

Subscriptions can also be purchased online at Play Alberta (in Alberta), PlayNow (in Manitoba).

WE’VE GOT A LOT GOING ON!

Not only is our Mail Subscription service coming to an end, we are also getting ready to move to a new digital platform. The new service will include the Lotto Spot app, Subscription Spot (OSS) and WCLC’s MVP service, all in one place, under ONE account!

To make the transition easiest for our players, we recommend signing up with Subscription Spot before March 24, the day of SubscriptionSpot.ca’s registration freeze. Your account will then automatically be migrated to the new platform. Once migrated, you will be notified by email to sign in and reset your password (for added security), add a preferred method of payment (to easily purchase your lottery tickets) and reselect your Subscription selections (to best suit your subscription needs).

You can sign up on the new LottoSpot.ca site whenever you’re ready. The early registration just ensures account basics, like your name and email, are waiting for you on the new service.

Register with your credit card for payment, and
direct deposit information for prize delivery.

NOTE: You must be physically located in the Canadian
Prairies or North to purchase from the site; however, you can view your existing subscriptions and monitor your winnings from anywhere.

Due to United States postal laws, we are unable to communicate with subscribers about lottery products once they have entered the US.

What happens if you win?

With Subscription Spot, smaller prizes will be deposited into your account as they are won.

WCLC will reach out to subscription holders if they win a major prize to talk about next steps for claiming the prize.
