Winnipegger wins $200K live on THE BIG SPIN!

Winnipeg local Grace Kumhyr won the chance to play a favourite Scratch & Win game in real life with THE BIG SPIN!

On Thursday afternoon, Kumhyr stepped up to THE BIG SPIN wheel at WCLC headquarters and won $200,000!

Kumhyr said she was thrilled to discover THE BIG SPIN ticket she bought from River Park Esso at 1919 St. Mary’s Road in Winnipeg on March 20 won $10,000 and a date with THE BIG SPIN prize wheel.

“I didn’t realize I had won until the cashier started yelling,” she laughed. “I said, ‘You’re kidding! I don’t believe it!’ and then ran to tell my daughter who was waiting in the car.”

The winner said she is really looking forward to doing home renovations with this $200,000 windfall.

“It’s such a relief,” she said. “There is a lot of work needed to be done on the house, and this will be a great start to it!”
