Katherine Healey won $100,000 on a $5 CROSSWORD BEE LUCKY Scratch & Win! 

The Winnipeg local enjoys her routine of playing Scratch & Win weekly and said she loves the excitement of an instant win. 

The excitement became real for Healey this time, as she scratched her ticket and her jaw dropped. 

“I said, ‘Holy Eff!’ And started shaking and counting the zeroes!” she said. “Then, I waited until the cashier was free to check it for me.” 

“The first person I told about the win was my friend,” she continued. “This was amazing news to share!” 

Healey said she’s excited to start enjoying her windfall. 

“I’m going to pay bills first, then I’m going to get some landscaping tools for my yard!” she smiled. “I’m also thinking of maybe taking a trip to visit my mother in Ottawa!” 

Healey purchased her winning $5 CROSSWORD BEE LUCKY Scratch & Win ticket from Walmart at 2370 McPhillips Street in Winnipeg.
