Winnipeg local wins $1 million on LOTTO 6/49!

Edward Wiebe won $1 million on LOTTO 6/49 and said he feels “just amazing!” 

The Winnipeg local said he loves to play LOTTO 6/49 almost every week, but he was unprepared for the feeling of winning this big. 

“I checked the numbers and was shocked!” he said. “It’s a little hard to describe the feeling—basically it’s amazing!” 

Now, Wiebe is excited to get started on some projects with his new windfall. 

“I want to work on my house-- take care of some renovations,” he smiled. “It's been a long time coming.” 

“I've got a couple kids as well that I'd like to help out where I can,” he continued. “Most of all, it'll just be day-to-day stuff that I won’t have to think twice about spending money on anymore!” 

Wiebe purchased his winning ticket from Harris Meats and Groceries at 1840 Arlington Street in Winnipeg. He won his prize on the February 7 Gold Ball Draw with the selection: 32789773-01, a white ball.
