Vulcan couple ready to live long and prosper with $250K LOTTO 6/49 prize!

Karen and Norman Kristjansson are the latest Albertans to win big on LOTTO 6/49! 

The Vulcan couple took home a $250,853.20 prize on the October 11 draw and said the whole experience has been a big, exciting surprise. 

“I go on the WCLC website to look at the winning numbers on the draws,” Karen said. “When we saw that our numbers matched, Norm couldn’t believe it!” 

“I’m used to mostly paying for them,” joked Norman. 

The pair said now that they’re settling into the idea of winning a major lottery prize, they’ve been talking about what to do with it. 

“Oh, [we’ve had] lots of discussions,” said Karen. 

“No decisions,” laughed Norman. 

“It’s just very exciting,” Karen continued. “We’re really happy to have won!” 

The Kristjanssons purchased their winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket from Market Street Vulcan at 221 2 Street S in Vulcan. They won their prize by matching five out of the six numbers selected in the October 11 LOTTO 6/49 draw, plus the Bonus number: 5, 23, 25, 40, 41, 43 and Bonus 34.
