Vegreville local wins $100K on Scratch & Win ticket!

Angela Phillips won $100,000 on a SIZZLING SLOTS Scratch & Win ticket which was part of a $20 Players Choice Mega Pack!

The Vegreville winner said she scratched her ticket once she got home but soon had to turn around.

“I thought it was a winner, but I had my doubts, so I ran back to the store to confirm it!” she explained. “When I found out for sure, I was so happy I gave a little girl in the store $20!”

Phillips said the windfall has come at an excellent time for her.

“I don’t have definite plans [on how to spend it],” she admitted. “But I’m in the process of retiring so this definitely helps make that happen!”

“It’s amazing,” she added. “I just can’t believe it!”

Phillips purchased her $20 Players Choice Mega Pack from Vegreville and District Co-op at 4914 51 Avenue in Vegreville.
