Vancouverite wins $1M on LOTTO 6/49 in Edmonton!

Jae Seong Bae was working in Edmonton last October when he purchased a LOTTO 6/49 ticket during a stop for groceries. 

Months later, the Vancouverite finally wrapped up his work project and got around to checking the ticket on the Lotto Spot app. 

It was a $1 million LOTTO 6/49 winner! 

“I was like, ‘Wow!’” he said. “You dream about it, but it happened!” 

“I had a fast heartbeat and a dizzy feeling,” he continued. “I was just unbelievably excited.” 

Now, Bae is interested in some leisure time. 

“I want to take a break from work for a bit and take a trip to Europe,” he said. “I am very excited and I feel happy and also very fortunate!” 

Bae purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket from H Mart at 570-3803 Calgary Trail NW in Edmonton. He won his prize on the October 11, 2025 Gold Ball draw with the selection: 29123594-01, a white ball.
