Tuktoyaktuk local wins $50K on WESTERN 649!

Lena McIntyre won $50,000 on a WESTERN 649 ticket! 

“When I scanned it, I just thought. ‘Wow, so many zeroes!’” she laughed. “I was in complete shock, so I had the clerk check it for me as well!” 

Now McIntyre is enjoying the feeling of $50,000 extra dollars in her pocket. 

“The first person I told was my boss!” she smiled. “It’s just nice to go about daily life with a little extra.” 

“Living here is so expensive so this will definitely give us some breathing room,” she continued. 

McIntyre purchased her winning WESTERN 649 ticket from Northern Store located at 4 Centennial Road in Tuktoyaktuk. She won her prize on the April 18 WESTERN 649 draw by matching five out of the six main draw numbers plus the Bonus number: 26, 27, 29, 32, 41 and 48, and Bonus 33.
