St. Albert snowbird ‘ecstatic’ over $100K EXTRA win!

Rick Gorne is $100,000 richer after winning big on the November 29 EXTRA draw! 

The St. Albert local picked up a LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket as part of his typical routine but was shocked when he looked up the winning numbers on the WCLC website early one morning. 

“I was ecstatic!” he beamed. “I woke up my wife to show her and we both celebrated!” 

Gorne is looking forward to enjoying his winnings with his wife and his family over the holidays. 

“We go to Hawaii every winter and we’ll be able to stay a little longer this time!” Gorne said. “I want to give the grandkids a little extra at Christmas and then we’ll invest the rest.” 

“I’m very happy,” he smiled. 

Gorne purchased his winning LOTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from Canadian Tire Gas Bar at 42 Bellrose Drive in St. Albert. He won his prize by matching the last six numbers on the November 29 EXTRA: 2101317.
