St. Albert local ready for home renos after $250K win on EXTRA!

Krishnadai Mohamed has won $250,000 on EXTRA… and she’s ready to get going on some summertime house work! 

The St. Albert local said she buys tickets weekly in store, and she loves using the Lotto Spot app to check at home or on the go whenever she remembers. 

This time, when she remembered to check her ticket, she scanned it with her phone and couldn’t believe her eyes. 

“I was shocked and asked if this was for real,” she said. “I called my husband to look and then I called my son. We are all elated!” 

Mohamed said her winnings will absolutely be going towards updating her home. 

“I’m planning to use some for renovations on our house,” she smiled. “The rest will go into savings.” 

Mohamed purchased her winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from Shell at 400-2 Hebert Road in St. Albert. She won her prize by matching all seven numbers in the April 12 EXTRA draw: 3597710.
