Spruce Grove local wins $1M on LOTTO MAX!

Michael Swityk won $1 million on LOTTO MAX! 

The Spruce Grove local said he was drinking his coffee at the kitchen table and had a stack of tickets saved up to check.  

“I went through and scanned them [on the Lotto Spot app] and on the last one, I saw the zeroes pop up!” he said. “I told my wife we had just won a million dollars, and she didn’t believe me until I showed her the phone!” 

The win had Swityk jumping up with excitement. 

“I said, “Holy s***!’ and started dancing in the kitchen as well,” he chuckled. “With where we are at in life, this will definitely be life-changing.” 

For Swityk and his wife specifically, it means they have more options when it comes time to get a new vehicle in the next year. 

“It’s just going to give us less stress and more options for retirement,” he smiled. “We will be more comfortable.” 

Swityk purchased his winning LOTTO MAX ticket from Hardy’s Your Independent Grocer at 16 Superior Street in Devon. He won his prize by matching one of the MAXILLIONS selections in the December 23 LOTTO MAX draw: 1, 29, 37, 39, 43, 45, and 50.
