Nelson House local wins $100K on WESTERN MAX!

Nelson House resident Melody Wrightson won $100,000 on WESTERN MAX! 

Wrightson originally purchased her ticket for multiple draws spanning from the end of November to the end of December. 

“I usually play multiple draw tickets so I don’t miss a draw,” she explained. “I took a while to check these numbers, but when I did, I was so surprised!” 

“I said, ‘Holy smokes!’” she laughed. “I was so happy I was shaking!” 

Once Wrightson had calmed down, she called her daughter to share the good news. 

“She was so happy for me!” she said. “I’m planning to share with family.” 

Wrightson purchased her winning WESTERN MAX and EXTRA ticket from Circle K at 1035 Autumnwood Drive in Winnipeg. She won her prize by matching six out of seven numbers plus the bonus number in the December 2 WESTERN MAX draw: 3, 7, 8, 11, 21, 33, 36, and Bonus 15.
