Moose Jaw local wins $1M LOTTO 6/49 prize!

Howard Cormier won $1 million on LOTTO 6/49!

The Moose Jaw winner said he was at an appointment when he decided to check his numbers.

“I was sitting at my chiropractor’s office and decided to call in to WCLC to check my numbers,” he explained. “I couldn’t believe it!”

Cormier said the news left him stunned.

“I was in shock,” he continued. “I think I used a few choice words at the chiro office!”

After learning about the win, he wasted no time sharing the excitement with family.

“I called my sister in England and my brother in Swift Current to share the news.”

Now, the Moose Jaw resident is beginning to make plans for his windfall.

“I’m planning to pay off some bills, fix up my vehicle, and maybe buy a new-to-me vehicle,” he said. “I might bring my sister and her family over here to visit as well.”

“It’s overwhelming and I’m grateful!”

Cormier purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket from Unique Smoke and Convenience Store, 834 9 Ave. NW in Moose Jaw. He won his prize on the LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball Draw with the selection 31607529-05, a white ball.
