Moose Jaw local ready for Jamaica trip with $100K EXTRA win!

Chris Aparicio is ecstatic to have won $100,000 on EXTRA!

The Moose Jaw local said he typically plays weekly but doesn’t check his tickets quite as often.

“I was listening to the radio in the morning and heard there was a winning ticket in Saskatchewan, so I went to the store to check my tickets,” he explained. “I had to count the zeroes to see how much I’d won—then I took it up to the cashier and there were probably 12 people standing around and cheering for me!”

Aparicio said he was thrilled and immediately called his wife.

“She said, “You’ve got to be kidding!’” he laughed. “It’s still sinking in for us!”

“I just gave my daughter my old car and bought a new one so now I can pay it off!” he smiled. “My wife and I are also planning a trip to Jamaica.”

Aparicio purchased his winning WESTERN MAX and EXTRA ticket from South Hill Co-op Gas Bar at 414 9 Ave. SW in Moose Jaw. He won his prize by matching the last six digits in the July 22 EXTRA draw: 5471121.
