Moose Jaw local claims first $100K LOTTO MAX prize

Todd Bowes is the very first in Saskatchewan to ever win a new $100,00 LOTTO MAX prize in the April 21 draw!

The Moose Jaw local said his wife initially texted a screenshot of the winning ticket to tell him it was a $100 winner.

“I called her right back and told her there were a lot more zeroes on that prize amount than she thought!” he laughed. “It was $100,000!”

Now, Bowes is excited to dream about how they will enjoy the winnings together.

“We’re going to do some renovations,” he said. “And we’ll share some with our kids that are 19 and 22!”

When asked about how it felt to be one of the very first to win in the brand new LOTTO MAX prize category, Bowes said: “It feels great and I will be back!”

Bowes purchased his winning LOTTO MAX ticket from Getty Foods at Wood Lily Dr. in Moose Jaw. He won his prize in the BRAND NEW $100,000 LOTTO MAX prize category by matching the selection: 4, 9, 12, 19, 26, 43, and 47. It was one of 40 $100,000 prizes available in the April 21 draw, to match the $40 million jackpot.
