Lethbridge winner discovers $100K Scratch & Win prize!

Jovelyn Fernandez won a $100,000 prize on her $20 GOLDEN EGG Scratch & Win ticket! 

The Lethbridge local said she typically only plays Scratch & Win lottery tickets and loves how they offer an instant win reveal. 

“I scratched this ticket and scanned it on the terminal [in store],” she explained. “[When I saw the win] I thought, ‘Is this real?!’” 

“I had to have my husband check it and then my daughter,” she laughed. “We read the instructions on the ticket just to make sure!” 

Fernandez is ready to enjoy her new windfall, and she has some ideas on exactly how she’ll do that. 

“We’re going to pay off our vehicles,” she said. “And some will go to our home renovations!” 

“It will really help take some pressure off our shoulders,” she smiled. 

Fernandez purchased her winning $20 GOLDEN EGG Scratch & Win ticket from Petro Canada at 1606 Mayor Magrath Drive S in Lethbridge.
