The Lac La Biche winner said he typically buys Scratch & Win and POKER LOTTO tickets on a regular basis but when he scratched this one, it took him by surprise. 

“I scratched it and then scanned it on the [Lotto Spot] app,” he said. “It was very unexpected!” 

Sorenson said he already knows exactly how he’ll spend his winnings. 

“I’m planning to pay some bills and then invest the rest of it!” he smiled. “It feels really good.”
