La Loche local wins $100,000 on PLINKO!

March 20 was a great day for one Saskatchewan winner who took her shot at winning big in a Lotto Spot Live event in St. Albert!

Violet Lemaigre tried her hand at the giant size PLINKO board and took home $100,000!

Lemaigre said she was thrilled to discover the PLINKO Scratch & Win ticket she bought from Petro Canada at 112 Raven Lane in Anzac, Alberta on January 31 won $10,000 and a date with the life-size PLINKO board.

“I went into Meadow Lake and got my ticket scanned at the till,” she explained. “This is the first time I have won the Chip Win and I wasn’t paying attention, but when I looked, the screen said, ‘Winner!’”

“I called my husband who was sitting in the truck waiting and I said, ‘I won $10,000!’ and he said, ‘No way!’”

Lemaigre and her family were even more excited when they realized they’d get a shot at winning even more on a giant PLINKO board.

“My son was ecstatic,” she laughed. “Maybe even more than me!”

Now that Lemaigre has won $100,000, she’s ready to enjoy the windfall with family.

“I told my husband I want to pay off his truck,” she continued. “We might do some renovations as well!”

“It was a shock to win, and now it’s so exciting!” she beamed.
