“I was shocked!”: St. Albert local wins $107K LIGHTINING LOTTO! 

Darlene Logan has won $107,795.60 on LIGHTNING LOTTO! 

The St. Albert local said she plays the instant win game multiple times a week and loves watching the jackpot grow.  

On this occasion, she was surprised to see that her win was much bigger than expected. 

“You always hear the lightning sound and then, ‘WINNER,’ but for me, it’s usually for $3 prize!” she laughed. “I saw the amount and I was shocked—I thought, ‘Wow!’” 

Logan said she’s not thinking about splurging with her winnings and is instead excited to have a little extra cushion in her bank account. 

“It feels great-- I’m just going to focus on my retirement,” she said. “This will make life a little easier!” 

Logan purchased her winning LIGHTNING LOTTO ticket from 7-Eleven at 502 St. Albert Road in  
St. Albert. She won her prize on June 4 by matching all five numbers in the LIGHTNING LOTTO daily draw: 2, 8, 17, 24, and 26.
