Fort Simpson local wins $100K on EXTRA!

Leonard Nadia won $100,000 on EXTRA! 

The Fort Simpson local said he buys every draw and was shocked to discover the win when he was checking some tickets in store. 

“I scanned it and the amount came up,” he explained. “I was looking around like, ‘Does anyone else see this?!’” 

Now, Nadia is looking forward to enjoying the winnings with family and travelling. 

“I’m going to pay some bills and take a trip to Whitehorse!” he said. “We have a son studying in Vancouver and now we can help him come home to visit on Father’s Day and my birthday!” 

Nadia purchased his winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket from Unity Convenience Store at 10106 100 Street in Fort Simpson. He won his prize by matching the last six digits in the May 1 EXTRA draw: 6345523.
