Fort Saskatchewan local wins $1M on LOTTO MAX!

Patricia Thomas has won $1 million on LOTTO MAX! 

The Fort Saskatchewan local buys tickets “once in a blue moon,” but this blue moon resulted in a lifechanging win! 

“I was up at 6 in the morning having coffee, and I scanned my [LOTTO MAX] ticket on the [Lotto Spot] app,” she explained. 

When she saw the number on her screen she was overwhelmed. 

“I ran upstairs to tell my daughter and grandchildren!” she said. “There was a lot of excitement in the house!” 

Thomas said she is very excited about what this windfall will change in her life. 

“I’ll be able to pay off some bills and buy a house,” she smiled. “It’s honestly such a shock to win.” 

Thomas purchased her winning LOTTO MAX ticket from Co-op located at 10004 99 Avenue in Fort Saskatchewan. She won her prize by matching one of three MAXMILLIONS prize selections won in the August 15 LOTTO MAX draw: 8, 10, 13, 20, 34, 36, and 40.
