Fort Qu’Appelle local wins festive $100K prize on NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION Scratch & Win!

Linda Peigan won a festive holiday prize of $100,000 on a $5 NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION Scratch & Win ticket!

The Fort Qu’Appelle local said she liked the surprise element of a Scratch & Win ticket and this one certainly caught Peigan by surprise.

“I couldn’t believe it,” she exclaimed. “My husband was sleeping at the time, and I woke him up – we both were in shock!”

Peigan said the win is “life changing” for her family.

“My kids keep saying I’m a millionaire,” she laughed. “They all took time off work to celebrate with us!”

And the Fort Qu’Appelle winner said she already knows exactly how she’s going to enjoy the winnings.

“We are going on a family vacation to Edmonton, and I am purchasing a new vehicle!” she smiled. “We are also putting some money away to celebrate our anniversary in June!”

“We are going to have a good Christmas!” she added.
