Fort McMurray newcomer wins $100K Scratch & Win prize!

Kenneth Lockyer won $100,000 on a $5 RUBY MINE 5X Scratch & Win ticket! 

The Fort McMurray winner said he scratched the ticket and did a double take at the win amount. 

“I thought I had won $100,” he laughed. “But then I caught a glimpse of a few more zeroes and realized it was much more than that!” 

Lockyer was excited to show his wife, who also required a good second look before she believed what she was seeing.  

“Once I showed her the slip and she knew it was real, she was over the moon,” he said. 

“We just moved here a few months ago so this couldn’t have come at a better time!” he continued. “It’s just going into the bank as a bit of a nest egg and to go towards a few things we need.” 

Lockyer purchased his winning $5 RUBY MINE 5X Scratch & Win ticket from Circle K at 100 Real Martin Drive in Fort McMurray.
