Edson local wins $100K on EXTRA!

Robert Weippert won $100,000 on EXTRA! 

The Edson local won the major prize on the March 4 LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA draw by matching the last six digits: 2380359. 

When he scanned his ticket in-store and realized he had won he was stunned. 

“I said to myself, ‘I can’t believe it!’” he smiled. “I went home and told my brother right away!” 

Now that Weippert is starting to believe the incredible news, he has big plans for his winnings. 

“I’m going to pay off my mortgage!” he said. “It’s such a relief!” 

Weippert purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from Sobeys at 303 54 Street in Edson.
