Edmontonian wins $1M on LOTTO MAX!

Linda Ostopchuk won $1 million on LOTTO MAX and is headed to sunny beaches to celebrate! 

The Edmontonian said she buys a Super Pack every couple of weeks and doesn’t always check them right away. 

“I went to the store to go check several tickets and sure enough the last ticket in the bunch was a winner!” Ostopchuk smiled. “I couldn’t believe it—I cried outside afterwards!” 

“My co-workers all told me I deserved it,” she continued. “They were very nice and supportive when I told them the good news!”  

Ostopchuk said she’s still in disbelief over her major $1 million windfall and she’s got a few ideas on how to enjoy it. 

“I’m going to the bank to talk to a financial advisor and then I’m taking a trip to Mexico!” she said. “After that, I’ll take it step by step.” 

“It’s hard to believe—I’ve never won this much before in my life!” she beamed.  

Ostopchuk purchased her winning LOTTO MAX ticket from Paula’s Lottery in Northgate Mall at 9499 137 Avenue Edmonton. She won her prize by matching one of the MAXMILLIONS selections in the December 9 LOTTO MAX draw: 1, 5, 10, 26, 30, 41, and 42.
