Drayton Valley local wins $100K on EXTRA!

Susan Anderson is $100,000 richer after winning the second-top prize on the January 21 EXTRA draw! 

The Drayton Valley local’s husband thought she was pulling his leg when she first told him the news. 

“I checked it on the app and told him to come look,” she said. “He thought I was joking and we had to check it again to show him.” 

“I was happy crying and pacing,” she laughed. “I just couldn’t believe it!” 

Now, Anderson is ready to enjoy those winnings fully by getting into some home renovations. 

“I’m just so happy,” she said. 

Anderson purchased her winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA tickets from 7-Eleven at 4913 50 Avenue in Drayton Valley. She won her prize by matching the last six digits in the January 21 EXTRA draw: 5871816.
