Drake local wins $100K on birthday Scratch & Win!

Victoria Rattray won $100,000 on a $5 SUMMER OF FUN Scratch & Win pack!

The Drake local said she typically doesn’t play scratch tickets unless it’s her birthday.

On her birthday this year, when her sister explained that she could scan the barcode with the Lotto Spot app on her phone, she had to give it a try.

“It’s a quicker way to find out if it’s a win,” she said. “We scanned my ticket on the app, and it came right up as a $100,000 win!”

“We had to scan it again because we weren’t sure what we were seeing was right—it came up as $100,000 again!” she laughed. “I said, ‘Oh jeez, happy birthday to me!’”

Rattray said she’s not sure how she’ll spend the windfall just yet when it comes to treating herself—but is planning to pay some bills.

Rattray’s winning $5 SUMMER OF FUN pack was purchased at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 2223 Victoria Ave. E in Regina.
