Dinsmore duo wins big: $100K on EXTRA!

Doreen Nelson and Michael Bogner have won $100,000 on the March 14 EXTRA draw!

The Dinsmore locals said they like to add EXTRA to all their tickets for the extra chance of winning.

“I scanned the ticket [on the Lotto Spot app] and had to scan it again,” chuckled Nelson. “I was like, ‘Did I do that right?’”

“Then I yelled at Mike who was outside and he thought there was something wrong so he ran in,” she continued. “I just showed him the app screen and he didn’t say anything right away.”

“I had to blink a few times,” admitted Bogner.

“I think he thought I’d somehow made it up!” laughed Nelson.

Of course, the two are already planning how to spend their windfall.

“We’re planning to pay bills, put some away for a rainy day, and maybe next year look into a cruise!” Nelson said. “Maybe in the Panama Canal!”

“It feels like a relief,” Nelson added. “It’s not enough to go crazy about but it’s nice to get things paid off!”

The pair purchased their winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket from Dinsmore Autocare located on Highway 42 in Dinsmore. They won their prize by matching the last six digits in the EXTRA selection for March 14: 4453444.
