Dauphin local wins $1M on LOTTO MAX!

George Sanden is $1 million richer after winning on the December 30 LOTTO MAX draw. 

“I checked my ticket on the [Lotto Spot] app, and I couldn’t believe it,” Sanden said. “I went to the store to check it again, and the cashier congratulated me!” 

“I said, ‘That can’t be right!’” he laughed. “I had a perma-grin on my face for at least 12 hours!” 

The Dauphin winner went home and told his wife who was thrilled to hear the good news. 

“She’s already talking about us taking a trip to Mexico with my daughter!” he smiled. “We want to buy a new home as well.” 

Sanden said the entire experience feels like a dream. 

“It’s unbelievable,” he said. “It still hasn’t settled in.” 

Sanden purchased his winning LOTTO MAX ticket from the Petro Canada located at 100 Highland Avenue in Brandon. He won his prize by matching one of the 51 MAXMILLIONS selections in the December 30 LOTTO MAX draw: 3, 5, 8, 30, 44, 48, and 49.
