Cochrane local wins $100K on EXTRA!

Mahara Delain has won $100,000 on EXTRA! 

The Cochrane local said she typically buys  LOTTO 6/49 and WESTERN 649 tickets for every draw and adds EXTRA for the extra chance to win. 

This time, that extra chance was all it took for her to take home a $100,000 prize! 

“I scanned the ticket in-store two or three times,” she admitted. “I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing!” 

Delain told her family right away and said she is excited to share part of her prize with them. 

“My plan is one-third to charity, one-third to family, and one-third of the prize for myself,” she explained. “It’s just an amazing feeling to have won!” 

Delain purchased her winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from Madaan’s Country Market at 1101-101 Sunset Drive in Cochrane. She won her prize by matching the last six digits in the May 10 EXTRA draw: 2747755.
