Clearwater River local discovers $100K EXTRA win over coffee!

Lance Janvier discovered he had won $100,010 on EXTRA while drinking his morning coffee!

“I was at home having my coffee and thought, ‘I’ll check my tickets,’” Janvier explained. “I saw the win and thought, ‘NO WAY!’”

“I had to make sure and scan it again on my [Lotto Spot] app,” he chuckled. “It came up again and again and I thought, ‘Is this $100,000?’”

Janvier went upstairs to wake his wife and share the good news.

“She said, ‘No way! Oh my god, good for you!’” he said. “I laughed and said, ‘You mean good for us!’”

Janvier is looking forward to taking his family on a trip to Edmonton.

“It would be nice to take them for a break,” he said. “The grandkids would love it!”

When asked about how it feels to win his prize, Janvier said it’s “perfect.”

“When you run a business, money is always tight,” he said. “I’m happy, of course.”

Janvier purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from Co-op Stonebridge Food Store located at 511 Wellman Cres. in Saskatoon. He won his prize by matching the last six digits selected in the EXTRA draw on April 5: 2470787.
