Battleford local wins $109K on LOTTO 6/49!

Sheldon Graham is $100,000 richer after winning big on LOTTO 6/49… $109,672.70 richer to be exact!

The Battleford local said he got a little help discovering the win.

“My sister scanned the ticket on her iPad [Lotto Spot App],” he explained. “The amount came up and she thought, ‘This must be wrong!’”

“She rescanned it several times and then said to me, ‘Sheldon! You’ve got to come look at this!’” he laughed. “We brought up the numbers on the website to check it manually and were shocked it was real!”

Graham called his mom to come over and see it as well.

“She offered to buy me a new outfit for my prize claim interview,” he chuckled. “I haven’t had money all my life and now I don’t even know what I’m going to do!”

But Graham is making plans for his winnings already.

“I’m going to buy a new wardrobe to start,” he smiled. “Then I just have to think about it!”

“I’m really excited,” he continued. “It doesn’t feel real but it’s starting to sink in!”

Graham purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket from Co-op at 607 Carlton Trail in North Battleford. He won his prize in the April 25 LOTTO 6/49 Classic Draw by matching five out of six numbers and the Bonus Number: 14, 23, 25, 28, 33, and 39, Bonus 32. The Classic Draw prize was shared with another winning ticket in Edmonton.
