$7M DAILY GRAND win in Calgary!

Calgarian Khalid Ahmad won $7 million dollars on DAILY GRAND! 

Ahmad said when he first discovered the win, he got out a magnifying glass to count the zeroes and be sure about what he was seeing on his Lotto Spot app. 

“I was shocked when I saw it said, “Winner, winner, winner!’” he said. “I took good care of the ticket to make sure it didn’t get damaged or wet.” 

“I was excited and I honestly couldn’t sleep through the night after that,” he laughed. 

Now, Ahmad is thinking about all the ways his win is going to change his life, and all the family he will be able to visit around the world 

“I have family in Germany and Saudi Arabia, and I have also always wondered what Paris looks like!” he smiled. “I will help my family – my daughters and son – to have a secured future. That’s what’s most important to me at my age.” 

“I will go do Umrah (an Islamic pilgrimage) in Saudi Arabia as well!” he explained. 

Ahmad said he is excited for all the adventures ahead of him. 

He purchased his winning DAILY GRAND ticket from Jerry’s Convenience Store at 126 Saddletowne Circle NE in Calgary. He won his prize on the April 6 DAILY GRAND draw by matching all five numbers plus the grand number:  8, 17, 29, 33 and 38, and Grand Number, 4.
