$509K LIGHTNING LOTTO win strikes in St. Albert!

Michael Kenyon is still buzzing after a $509,843.20 LIGHTNING LOTTO win struck on a usual gas-up stop in Edmonton. 

“I initially thought it was a $50,000 win but the retailer said, ‘No, man! You just won the jackpot!’” he said. “Then, he gave me a hug and took a selfie of us.” 

“I should have asked for a copy!” he laughed. “At first, I was just in disbelief.” 

Kenyon immediately called his wife, but she was asleep at the time and didn’t answer. 

Next, he called his boss to ask for a day off to process the win. 

“I would like to take a few months before I make any major decisions,” he said. “But I would like to invest most of it, then I’m considering taking a trip to Niagara Falls to visit some casinos. And possibly investing in a new vehicle or new apartment.” 

“For now, it just feels amazing and surreal,” he smiled. 

Kenyon purchased his winning LIGHTNING LOTTO ticket from Canco at 101-7490 68 Avenue NW in Edmonton. He won his prize instantly by matching all five numbers selected in the January 27 LIGHTNING LOTTO draw: 3, 4, 22, 23, and 34.
