$260,295.50 LIGHTNING LOTTO win in Strathmore!

“I never expected this!”

Larry Berreth was killing time when he stopped by a Lotto Spot location and asked for a LIGHTNING LOTTO play. In a flash, the Strathmore local won $260,295.50!

“I heard the clerk say, ‘You won.’ And I thought he said $260 – I was excited,” he laughed. “I saw [the actual amount] and was in awe!”

“I never expected this!” he continued. “[My whole family is] over the moon excited!”

The new winner said he has a couple ideas for his windfall.

“Hawaii has been on my bucket list for a long time,” he explained. “We’ll probably do a family holiday there.”

“We’re also looking at getting a new car,” he said.

Berreth picked up his winning LIGHTNING LOTTO ticket at Strathmore Convenience Store, located at 209-213 3 Avenue. He won the game’s $260,295.50 jackpot on August 15.
