Mary Simpson of Fort Chipewyan is $250,000 richer after winning big on EXTRA! 

Simpson scanned her ticket in store and said she had to call in reinforcements to be sure her eyes were not playing tricks on her! 

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I asked someone walking by to take a look at it for me and then went and got my husband from the truck outside to come and look as well!” 

Now that her win has been peer reviewed, Simpson is looking forward to the oh-so-sweet feeling of paying off her bills. 

“I’m going to pay them all off and then take a driving trip to Nashville for a holiday,” she smiled. “It just feels like relief!” 

Simpson purchased her winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket from Shoppers Drug Mart at 500 – 8600 Franklin Avenue in Fort McMurray. She won her prize by matching all the digits in the EXTRA selection for the April 7 draw: 1014485.
