$209,908 LOTTO 6/49 prize won in Okotoks!

“I almost blacked out!”

Nels Kelly went out for a walk his dog… and he returned home a $209,908-winning LOTTO 6/49 winner!

The Okotoks local won on the September 13 draw.

“I was on my way to the dog park and stopped to grab a pop and check my ticket,” he said. “I’m always hoping to win, but I was shocked!”

“I almost blacked out,” he continued, laughing. “I was in complete disbelief. I think I’m still in shock!”

The winner said he has one main plan for his windfall—something he has been looking forward to for almost a decade.

“I haven’t taken a vacation in almost 10 years,” he explained. “I was thinking of going somewhere on a 747 aircraft – I really enjoy them!”

Kelly purchased his $10 LOTTO 6/49 ticket at Aldersyde Petro Canada, located at 200-64273 Highway 547 E. He won his $209,908 prize on the September 13 draw, by matching five of the six Main Draw numbers plus the Bonus number – 13, 21, 23, 33, 35 and 45, and the Bonus 1.
