$1M WESTERN MAX win in Regina!

Karen Carnduff won $1 million on WESTERN MAX!

“When I went online to check wclc.com, there was only one million-dollar winner and it was in Regina,” she said. “I thought, ‘Oh my God!’”

“Then, I checked number-by-number and said, ‘Oh my God… oh my God!’” she laughed.

The Regina local said her first response was to, “yell like a madman!”

“My daughter was in the house and heard me yelling, so she came running downstairs,” she said. “I made her read the numbers out.”

Once Carnduff and her daughter had confirmed it, Carnduff went running outside to jump and shout.

“My daughter said, ‘Stop yelling in the backyard!’” Carnduff laughed. “The animals didn’t know what was going on, that’s for sure.”

The Regina winner said she has big plans for her big win.

“I’m going to look for a house, pay off the car, spoil the dog, and perhaps buy my granddaughter a car—it’ll be an early grad present!” she smiled.

Carnduff purchased her winning WESTERN MAX ticket from Klein’s at 873 Argyle St. N in Regina. She won her prize by matching a million-dollar prize selection in the April 18 WESTERN MAX draw: 3, 14, 16, 17, 19, 24, and 45.
