$1M LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball Draw win in Whitecourt!

Whitecourt local Jinky Lucena won $1 million on LOTTO 6/49! 

The winner said when she scanned the ticket in-store and discovered she had a winning ticket, she was immediately excited. 

“I called my daughter to tell her and I said, ‘I think I won!’” she smiled. “I was so happy!” 

Now, Lucena said she is looking forward to enjoying her winnings with family. 

“I’m going to pay off my mortgage and buy a new vehicle first,” she said. “Then, I’m going to take the family on a trip to Europe to visit the old churches there – we’ve always wanted to see the Vatican!” 

Lucena isn’t stopping there. 

“I’m also taking a trip to the Philippines to visit family!” she smiled. “It’s going to be so nice to visit.” 

Lucena purchased her winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket from Tags Food & Gas at 3711 Caxton Street in Whitecourt. She won her prize in the February 28 LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball Draw with the selection: 24621935-01, a white ball.
