$1M LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball Draw win in Edmonton!

Kamran Eskandari of Edmonton is $1 million richer after winning big on LOTTO 6/49! 

Eskandari said he’s been playing since the 90s and was stunned to see the major win come up on screen. 

“The cashier said she would check it for me and at first we both thought I’d won $100,000!” he laughed.  

“When I realized how much it was, my heart was beating so fast,” he said. “I called my sister [to tell her] and my heart was really going but I was just trying to be cool.” 

The Edmonton winner said he’s planning to focus on his investments when it comes to spending this new windfall. 

“I’m going to pay my mortgage and line of credit,” he explained. “Then I’m going to start thinking about how else to invest it.” 

“I’m very thankful and grateful,” he continued. “It’s a good feeling.” 

Eskandari purchased the winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket from Shoppers Drug Mat at 11720 Jasper Avenue in Edmonton. He won his prize-- plus a Free Play—on the October 1 Gold Ball Draw with the selection: 37917758-0, a white ball. Eskandari also took home a $2 prize on the EXTRA for the same draw by matching the last digit in the selection: 1541274. His final prize totaled $1,000,002 plus a Free Play.
