$100K EXTRA win in Swift Current!

Tyler Flynn won $100,000 and a Free Play on EXTRA!

The Swift Current local said he had been joking with a coworker about it earlier in the year and was stunned to see he had won.

“I was sitting on my couch, and I was in disbelief,” he said. “Six months ago, a co-worker and I were joking about if we ever won big what we would do—my coworker said to hold onto the ticket tightly until it was time to collect!”

Now that Flynn can loosen that grip on the winning ticket and enjoy the windfall, he is still coming up with ideas on how to spend it.

“It will be going into our savings account,” he said. “[My wife and I are] considering maybe taking a trip or two.”

“It gives us a bit more financial freedom,” he continued.

Flynn purchased his winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket from Shell at 345 North Service Rd. W in Swift Current. He won his prize by matching the last six digits on the November 28 EXTRA draw: 3031333.
