$100K EXTRA win in Lethbridge!

Shaimus Tolman is $100,000 richer after winning in the March 14 WESTERN 649 and EXTRA draw! 

The Lethbridge local won his $100,000 EXTRA prize but didn’t check the prize for a while. 

“I was in bed sleeping and randomly thought about checking my tickets,” he said. “I went to the [Lotto Spot] app and checked them... I was half asleep and thought it said $10!” 

“I screenshotted it and sent it to my friend to double-check and she insisted we take it to the store to be certain it was truly a $100,000 win,” he laughed. “It was!” 

Now, Tolman is weighing his options for how he will spend the winnings. 

“I might get a dog!” he said. “I’m still thinking of what to do with it but right now it feels like a rush!” 

Tolman purchased his winning WESTERN 649 and EXTRA ticket from Gas N’ More at 1740 Gershaw Drive SW in Medicine Hat. He won his prize by matching the last six digits in the March 14 EXTRA draw: 6740582.
