Canmore local Alex Brunet won $100,000 on EXTRA! 

Brunet said he checked the LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket a few times on the Lotto Spot app in disbelief. 

“I just rescanned it to be sure of what I was seeing!” he laughed. “I couldn’t believe it – I thought, ‘Can this be real?’” 

After Brunet was certain his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him, he told his wife and they celebrated the good news. 

“Right now, my main priority is to enjoy this with the family,” Brunet smiled. “I just feel super grateful!” 

Brunet purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from 7-Eleven at 1729A Mountain Avenue in Canmore. He won his prize by matching the last six digits in the February 14 EXTRA draw: 3032424.
