$100,000 EXTRA win in Brooks!

Amanda Gray is celebrating after winning a $100,000 EXTRA prize.

The Brooks local discovered her win unexpectedly while out shopping with family.

“My mom and aunt picked me up to go grocery shopping and I was going through my wallet and saw some lottery tickets,” she explained. “I started checking them on the Lotto Spot app and I couldn't believe what I saw!”

The surprise was almost too much to process.

“I had to check it a few times,” she laughed. “I was just too shocked to say anything!”

“My daughter was the first one to know because she was sitting beside me,” she continued.

Now, the Brooks winner is making plans for her prize.

“I'm going to buy a brand-new car because mine just broke down,” she smiled. “I'm also going to help my son purchase a used vehicle and put some away in savings.”

Despite already making plans for the money, the win still doesn't feel real for Gray.

“It feels amazing and unbelievable. I am still in shock!”

Amanda Gray purchased her WESTERN MAX and EXTRA ticket from Brooks Gas Bar at 5-731 Alberta Street W in Brooks. She won her $100,000 EXTRA prize on the May 29 draw by matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number selected: 6516654.
