$100,000 EXTRA prize won in Grande Prairie!

When Robert Bexson checked his WESTERN MAX and EXTRA ticket in-store, he and the store’s clerk were shocked to see a cluster of zeroes appear on the scanner’s screen.

The Grande Prairie local won $100,000 on the April 29 EXTRA draw!

“I scanned the ticket and asked the retailer how much I’d won,” he explained. “She said it had a lot of zeroes, and she wasn’t sure!”

“[Another person in the store] came over and said, ‘That’s $100,000!’” he laughed. “I think I said, ‘Bull sh*t!’”

The surprised winner said he has a couple purchases in mind.

“I’m going to buy some new farm equipment!” he said.

Bexson purchased his winning WESTERN MAX and EXTRA ticket at Wapiti Road Shell, located at 10805 79 Avenue in Grande Prairie. He won his $100,000 prize by matching the last six digits on the EXTRA number drawn on April 29 – 3765128.
