$100,000 EXTRA prize in Sherwood Park!

Michel Chauvin and Darlene Klassen were happy when they checked three of their LOTTO 6/49 tickets. The first two won Free Plays and the third won $100,000 on the May 28 EXTRA draw!  

“The machine went ‘Woohoo!’ and we saw ‘Free Play’ on the screen,” explained Klassen. “The second one was a Free Play as well, then the machine went ‘Woohoo!’ and we won $100,000!”  

“I just thought, ‘Is this real!?’” she laughed.  

Chauvin said his reaction was a little more reserved. 

“I kept calm,” he said. “It’s cool!”  

The couple said they don’t have any specific plans for their windfall, but they’re very happy to have the extra money. 

“We’re both retired,” explain Chauvin. “[The win] won’t change our life, but it’s like a bonus for us!”  

Chauvin and Klassen purchased their winning ticket from the Shell located at 101 Pallisades Way in Sherwood Park. They won their prize by matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number drawn on May 28 – 3043391.
