$100,000 50X THE CASH win in Prince Albert!
Thank goodness for shiny things! Linda Vandale walked into a local Shell and her attention went to a 50X THE CASH Scratch & Win ticket.
The Prince Albert local picked up the $5 ticket and won $100,000!
“The ticket just stood out to me,” she explained while claiming her prize.
Vandale said she scratched the ticket and showed her husband: “He looked at it and said, ‘I think you won $10,000!’” she laughed. “I was like, ‘Get out of here!’”
The couple scanned the ticket using the Lotto Spot app and were stunned to see the actual winnings on the screen.
“I said: ‘We didn’t win $10,000… times that by 10 –it’s $100,000!’”
The happy winner said she has a couple of ideas for her windfall.
“I plan to upgrade my car and hopefully buy a camper,” she said. “The rest will go to savings –it’s nice to have a ‘rainy day’ fund!”
Vandale purchased her winning ticket from the Shell located at 149 16th St. W in Prince Albert. 50X THE CASH and other Scratch & Win games like $2 20X THE CASH and $10 100X THE CASH are available at Lotto Spot retail locations across WCLC’s region.
