Silke Jahn has won $1 million on her $100 ULTIMATE Scratch & Win ticket! 

The Yellowknife local said she scratched the ticket and couldn’t believe her eyes. 

“I was actually quite numb and in shock,” she said. “It was late, and I didn’t want to wake anyone in the house up, so I couldn’t scream!” 

Jahn said she’s excited to spend her winnings making her life more comfortable. 

“I’m going to be responsible and pay off my house, car and debt,” she said. “I want to help get my mom settled in Germany and then find a new job.” 

Jahn said her win is a feeling she never expected. 

“It feels like a burden is lifted off my shoulders,” she smiled. “It’s a feeling of freedom!” 

Jahn purchased her winning $100 ULTIMATE Scratch & Win ticket from Yellowknife Direct Charge Co-op at 321 Old Airport Road in Yellowknife.
