$1 million prize on Scratch & Win in Spedden!

Francis Morin has dreams of seeing the ocean after winning $1 million on a $20 WESTERN MILLION Scratch & Win ticket. 

The Spedden local said he has plans to visit British Columbia with the windfall. 

“I would love to go to Victoria and go on the ferry,” he said.  

“Standing on the deck, you can see out to the city,” he continued. “I’d like to do that!” 

Morin discovered the win while drinking coffee with his daughter. 

“My daughter helped me [to scratch it] and she saw that it was a million dollars first,” he explained. “She was jumping around and screaming— I was still drinking my coffee.”   

“I didn’t believe it right away!” he laughed. “I don’t usually buy scratch tickets; I just do it once in a while.” 

Morin purchased his winning $20 WESTERN MILLION Scratch & Win ticket from Boyne Lake General Store at Highway 866 in Boyne Lake.
